Mentoring Club #24

Mentoring Club is for any child 7-11 years of age that attended Royal Family KIDS Camp. Throughout the school year campers and their mentors attend a once a month mentoring club meeting. Mentoring club is a place where a camper can reconnect with many of the participating staff members from camp as well as build lasting friendships with the other mentoring club kids. Club KIDS enjoy the same songs, games, and friends they met at Camp, which reinforces stability and character strength in their lives.

Mentors and certified staff are volunteers from Camp who get additional training to participate in the program.  Mentoring Club is a place where a Camper can continue to be a positive influence in the life of a foster child.  Mentors also reconnect with many of the participating staff members from Camp, as well as spend additional time with Mentoring Club KIDS doing fun activities.

Club and Mentoring Program

We have monthly Club meetings and mentors spend an additional 4-hours per month with their KIDS doing fun and bonding activities. Support staff leads skits, games, songs, crafts, and serve lunch at Club meetings. Research shows that one caring adult is all it takes for a child to overcome adversity. Become part of Mentoring Club, we need your support.
